 Through
a set of richly carved double doors, you enter a spacious gothic chamber composed of dark oaken paneling and finely
finished stone details. The tall window casements are flanked by heavy, faded drapes and aging tapestries adorn the walls. A
fire crackles in the large hearth which dominates one of the walls and the remainder of the room is lined with shelves
of leather-bound volumes.
In spite of the library's size and age, it is warm and inviting. The overstuffed, timeworn furniture is extremely comfortable.
Books are scattered about on tabletops and chairs, giving the chamber an informal feel. You
discover a full decanter and snifter at the ready, completing the atmosphere of hospitality.
